Adrian Barrett

Adrian is an experienced Business Consultant and Development Training Professional with over ten years practice in the learning and development environment. He has worked in the aerospace, information technology and more recently in the rail business sectors in a variety of senior management roles.

He has expertise in the delivery and facilitation of programmes and workshops covering a range of business processes and management skills. His direct business experience has contributed to his ability to relate complex models and processes into the design and development of learning solutions.

Additionally he has delivered a wide variety of training events across Europe, North America and Canada. Adrian is a qualified project manager and holds a Diploma in Management Studies as well as being qualified to use job and personality profiling to the British Psychological Society Full Level A.

Barbara Burgess
Barbara Burgess Barbara is a skilled Management Development and Training practitioner with over 15 years experience of working alongside clients as both a consultant and an in-house company training manager. She has worked with clients to help them to achieve performance improvement at individual, team and organisational levels, through training needs analysis, designing and leading learning activities, facilitating focused workshops and providing one-to-one support sessions and coaching.

Also she has managed customer accounts and worked with clients in the defence, telecom, manufacturing, automotive and leisure industries. She has worked in the UK, USA and Italy and also worked with managers from Hong Kong, Germany, and Australia.

Additionally she has worked with both able bodied and disabled young people including: apprentice programmes, student placement development programmes, graduate personal development programmes and team & personal improvement sessions. All included elements of team, personal and career development.

Barbara holds a BEd in Outdoor Education and Environmental Science, a Diploma in Sports Psychology and Certificate in Training and Development. She is qualified in Myers Briggs, Occupational and Pyschometric Testing. Also she holds a Mountain Leader Certificate, a Single Pitch climbing award, is a British Canoe Union Level 3 Canoe and Kayak Coach and a Ski Club Coach.

Rob Pugh
Rob Pugh

Rob is a development trainer with 10 years of experience in providing opportunities for individuals and teams to achieve real development during focused programmes. He has worked with a large number of contrasting organisations, from small cottage industries to major international businesses, and has helped them to achieve their learning, development and business objectives.

He has a keen interest in experiential learning: that is - implementing learning immediately in a controlled environment, often using practical activities and simulations. He is also a specialist in team and leadership training – two development arenas that are key to the ongoing success of a modern organisation.

Rob has a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) which enhances the effectiveness of his facilitation and delivery techniques. He is also qualified in the administration and delivery of DISC & PIAV profiles and experienced in using other psychometric instruments such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Belbin Team Role Tool.

As well as facilitating on development training programmes Rob is experienced in organising corporate entertainment events that provide fun, challenges and opportunities for socialising for both organisations and groups of friends. Activities include: conference breaks, initiative and problem solving games, high and low ropes course activities, ‘scenario’ based events, outdoor pursuits.

Rob also has a BEd in Physical Education; holds the Mountain Instructor Award; is a Provider of Single Pitch Award (rock climbing) courses and is a canoe and kayak instructor. He has also led expeditions both in the UK and abroad.
