Rob is a development
trainer with 10 years of experience in providing opportunities
for individuals and teams to achieve real development
during focused programmes. He has worked with a large
number of contrasting organisations, from small cottage
industries to major international businesses, and
has helped them to achieve their learning, development
and business objectives.
He has a keen interest in experiential learning:
that is - implementing learning immediately in a controlled
environment, often using practical activities and
simulations. He is also a specialist in team and leadership
training – two development arenas that are key
to the ongoing success of a modern organisation.
Rob has a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming
(NLP) which enhances the effectiveness of his facilitation
and delivery techniques. He is also qualified in the
administration and delivery of DISC & PIAV profiles
and experienced in using other psychometric instruments
such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Belbin
Team Role Tool.
As well as facilitating on development training programmes
Rob is experienced in organising corporate entertainment
events that provide fun, challenges and opportunities for
socialising for both organisations and groups of friends.
Activities include: conference breaks, initiative and problem
solving games, high and low ropes course activities, ‘scenario’
based events, outdoor pursuits.
Rob also has a BEd in Physical Education; holds the
Mountain Instructor Award; is a Provider of Single
Pitch Award (rock climbing) courses and is a canoe
and kayak instructor. He has also led expeditions
both in the UK and abroad.
